My background includes penetration testing and social engineering. My commentary on security has appeared in WIRED, and I’ve spoken at industry events.
Here, the conversation is about your home. I’ll talk you through the choices in plain English, challenge complexity that adds little value, and help you decide what is worth doing.

What does the £100 cover?
One 60-minute remote consultation with Richard to discuss your home, priorities and potential future work, followed by a short written summary of the next steps. It is a standalone consultation, with no obligation to commission a project.
Can you help with an existing smart home?
Yes. We can discuss what is already installed, what feels frustrating and what could be improved. Detailed fault finding and hands-on changes are scoped separately.
Will you design and install everything?
The consultation defines what is appropriate. Any design, configuration, installation coordination or ongoing support is agreed and priced separately. Work requiring a qualified electrician or specialist installer is carried out by the appropriate professional.
How do we arrange a time?
Pay securely, then use the email shown on your confirmation to arrange a mutually suitable time. Consultations normally take place after the 14-day cancellation period. If an earlier date suits us both, we will separately confirm your request to start sooner.
